Vikund hits level 80

Vikund hits level 80

In a frenzy of questing after finding that Dalaran no longer killed my computer, I raced ahead of the instance group and became the first to hit level 80.

Skronk and Ula were there to see me hit the level cap, along with Ground Commander Koup.

As when Tistann hit the cap, there was an email encouraging me to keep fighting and a supply of potions.

Now, what to do at 80?  There are a few more instances for the group to conquer still, but then what?

It was reported that there was a game that Bung was keen to go have us all try, but he communicated that only to Ula who then forgot what it was called.  Something involving and MMO that was also a shooter that wasn’t out yet.

But he’s gone off on vacation for a bit, so we’ll have to wait to see what game he meant.

Gratz!

Rep farming.
Dailies.
Heroics (same instances, a few curve balls, lots of HPs and loads of damage).
Raids. (10 mans are only adding one more group to your own)
Server transfer to Rexxar so you can join me?

;)

“Something involving and MMO that was also a shooter that wasn’t out yet.” – Huxley? The Agency?

Perhaps a glorious return to WAR now that server pop issues are resolved on the new merged servers (sadly still can’t hit L for the quest log though). Given this is a Saturday night group, scenarios and oRvR would work for T1 and T2 (T3 would work too, but since the leveling rate slows, would that alone keep you guys interested?).

A total group shift and you all go hardcore PvP in DarkFall?

A reverse shift and you all go uber-carebear in FreeRealms delivering mail and buying pink dresses?

Inquiring minds must know!

I’d make another character and start again. That’s what I do in every game, although usually since I’ve mad and am playing about fifteen before any of them has got half way to the level cap, what to do AT the cap is rarely an issue.

er “mad” should be “made”. No edit on this thing?

WAR used up L for “locate open groups.” Took me the longest time to figure that one out.

Hit up some Heroic Dungeons. Trying to defeat those dungeons on Heroic should give you guys some difficulty.

Please, please, please do some heroics. I live for your commentary and experience in the dungeons. Or perhaps you could get raid ready?

Thank you for your supportive words!

I think we’re committed at least through the Culling of Stratholme and we should probably round out the whole Lich King experience where we started (so miserably) and visit Ingvar the Plunderer in heroic mode.

Beyond that though the group has to decide.

I think a couple of us in the group would like to see a real WoW raid some day. The last raid I was on was back in EQ2. But I don’t think any of us have the time to commit to become actual raiders.

“Something involving and MMO that was also a shooter that wasn’t out yet.” – Fallen Earth? I think that one’s just around the corner.

Congratulations by the way!
