Blaugust 2023 Hits the 100 Blog Mark

We are now into the second week of Blaugust and participation continues to expand.

Blaugust – 2023 Edition

At some point over the weekend the event hit the 100 blog mark.  It isn’t crazy uncommon for new blogs to show up after the event starts… I always say it is never too late to join in when I post about the events… but to have the blog count grow by 20 or more in the first week, that is a bit unusual.

So I suppose I will say it again, it isn’t too late to join in.  Here are the links to all the details about the event.

And, of course, the blogs who are now part of the event.

Wow. I suppose Ishould be checking this sort of thing but I’m not so it’s a good thing you are and posting about it. I think that means another 20+ to add to my blog roll, assuming the new additions aren’t blogs I already have in there. It’s got to hit a limit sometime…

One thing I will say. It’s great that there’s so much interest but I’m already experiencing the phenomenon quite a few people reported towards the end of Blaugust last year, which is that there are just too many blogs to read everything that’s posted, every day. I know it’ll slow down a bit as people get tired and don’t post as often but with over a hundred participants I’d say there will be more posts than I can read every day for the whole of August.
