Cryptic has announced the first Star Trek Online Welcome Back Weekend. Starting today, May 7th, at 10:00am Pacific Time, people who purchased the game but who no longer subscribe, can log back in and see how much the game has changed since launch.

The free weekend ends on Monday, May 10th at 10:00am Pacific Time. If you haven’t played since launch, you probably have a bit of patching to do.
Also listed on Cryptic’s STO Promotions page are a new “refer a friend” program, a trial version of the game, and the new veterans rewards program.
