Off the MMO topic, but still fun, I saw an article up on Ars Technica, in their Opposable Thumbs Gaming News, about a version of PacMan written in Microsoft Excel macros.
I expected to see something cheesy but workable. Instead, this looks about as good as any port of the game I have ever seen. It is available here. The site is mostly in Japanese, but there is enough English to guide you.
You do have to enable macros. I scanned the package and ran it without any issue, so it appears to be virus free.
