Hey, here it is 7:30am at my location, I opened up World of Warcraft for the first time since Cataclysm hit the shelves here and what did I see?
It launched and I was able to get into the game.
I love it when a plan comes together.
And all my servers are up to. (Some others seem to be down still however. But I’ll take the attitude of our European cousins and just wallow in the fact that I got mine before somebody else got theirs.)
Granted, I have to go to work, but it is nice to see that things are working.
We’ll see how things look tonight.
I pity da fool who plays Cataclysm at 7:30 in the mornin’! I pity dat fool!

After everything us Europeans suffered at the hands of release dates and patches and what not, I felt like it was my duty to gloat as much as I could about our early access :D

I reluctantly cancelled my account due to my busy schedule a couple of months ago.
Needless to say, I am very, very jealous.

It was impressively smooth for me too. Midnight US time = 7:00pm Aussie time, me & my guildies suffered maybe 10 minutes of trying to get through the “Connecting..” window but after that it was absolutely problem-free. No lag, no crashes, no bugs, I couldn’t be happier!

@Gordon – Hey man, you live at UTC, everybody has to indicate their time zone in relation to you. A chronological holdover from imperialism. Then you buy games from companies on thousands of miles away and get grumpy when they kick off in their own country first.
